Communications & Marketing Intern<\/h1>\n

Levanta Renewables is wholly owned by Actis, a leading global sustainable infrastructure investor and part of General Atlantic\u2019s global investment platform, with approximately US$108 billion in combined assets under management.<\/p>\n

Due to business expansion, we are looking for an intern to support our Marketing department. The Communications & Marketing Intern will be based in Malaysia and report to the Marketing & Sales Support Manager.<\/p>\n

Role & Responsibilities<\/h2>\n

This is a hands-on internship covering a mix of communications and marketing activities. You will work closely with our Marketing & Communications function and support work across social media, content, PR, digital marketing, events and marketing materials.<\/p>\n

The work will vary, some tasks will be straightforward and routine, while others will involve research, writing or helping to put together communications for projects and events.<\/p>\n

You will be expected to learn along the way, ask questions when needed and take responsibility for the work assigned to you.<\/p>\n

Communications & Content<\/h3>\n
    \n
  • Support the development of LinkedIn and other corporate communications content.<\/li>\n
  • Assist with drafting and editing company announcements, project updates and other content.<\/li>\n
  • Support the preparation of press releases and media materials.<\/li>\n
  • Monitor relevant media coverage and maintain media trackers.<\/li>\n
  • Research industry news, topics and potential content opportunities.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n

    Marketing & Digital<\/h3>\n
      \n
    • Support the marketing content calendar.<\/li>\n
    • Assist with website content updates.<\/li>\n
    • Support basic SEO and digital marketing activities.<\/li>\n
    • Assist with simple reporting using tools such as Google Analytics and Search Console.<\/li>\n
    • Help prepare presentations, brochures and other marketing materials.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n

      Events<\/h3>\n
        \n
      • Support the planning and preparation of conferences, exhibitions and corporate events.<\/li>\n
      • Assist with event materials, invitations and other communications.<\/li>\n
      • Support photography, content collection and post-event communications where required.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n

        Design & Creative<\/h3>\n
          \n
        • Create simple visual assets using Canva or similar tools.<\/li>\n
        • Assist with adapting existing brand materials for different uses.<\/li>\n
        • Support basic video or photo content where required.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n

          Ideal Candidate Should Possess<\/h2>\n
            \n
          • Currently pursuing a degree or diploma in Marketing, Communications, Public Relations, Journalism, Media, Business or a related field.<\/li>\n
          • Good written and spoken English.<\/li>\n
          • Comfortable writing, editing and presenting information clearly.<\/li>\n
          • Good attention to detail.<\/li>\n
          • Organised and able to manage different tasks.<\/li>\n
          • Comfortable using PowerPoint and Canva or similar tools.<\/li>\n
          • Willing to learn and ask questions.<\/li>\n
          • Able to work independently on assigned tasks.<\/li>\n
          • Knowledge of renewable energy is not required. An interest in the sector is an advantage.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n
