O&M Site Manager (WTG)
Levanta Renewables is an institutionally backed renewable energy platform focused on Southeast Asia, developing, building and operating utility-scale solar, wind, and energy storage projects. Headquartered in Singapore, Levanta has integrated capabilities from greenfield development through financing, construction, and long-term asset management, with a focus on disciplined execution in complex, high-growth markets.
The company is currently building a gigawatt-scale renewable energy portfolio across Vietnam, Philippines, Thailand and Malaysia, while expanding its presence across key regional markets and delivering sustainable, long-term value for stakeholders.
Levanta Renewables is wholly owned by Actis, a leading global sustainable infrastructure investor and part of General Atlantic’s global investment platform, with approximately US$108 billion in combined assets under management.
Due to business expansion, we are seeking an O&M Site Manager to be based in Gia Lai, Vietnam and reporting to Wind Asset Project Manager.
Role & Responsibilities
The O&M Site Manager is responsible for driving the technical performance, availability, and operational safety of the 50MW Wind Power Plant in Gia Lai. This role focuses heavily on wind turbine generator (WTG) technologies, utilizing advanced SCADA analytics, Condition Monitoring Systems (CMS), and operational data to optimize turbine performance, minimize downtime, and strictly govern the OEM’s maintenance quality.
Key Responsibilities
- WTG Operational Leadership: Oversee and manage the daily operations and maintenance (O&M) activities focusing primarily on Wind Turbine Generators (WTGs) to ensure maximum equipment availability and reliability.
- Performance Analysis & Data Diagnostics: Continuous monitoring and deep analysis of SCADA data, CMS (Condition Monitoring Systems), and turbine logs to detect early anomalies, optimize curves, and diagnose root causes of faults.
- OEM Performance Governance: Act as the technical counterweight to the OEM. Strictly audit their maintenance execution, tracking compliance against contractual KPIs (Availability, MTBF, MTTR), and ensuring high-quality turbine servicing.
- O&M Strategy Execution: Implement predictive and preventive maintenance schedules based on data insights rather than basic run-to-failure or fixed-interval practices.
- HSE Management: Enforce strict Health, Safety, and Environmental (HSE) guidelines at the site, ensuring all turbine climbing, mechanical, and electrical works comply with zero-accident standards.
- Reporting & Handover: Prepare comprehensive technical performance reports, track wind farm analytics, and manage the verification of turbine-related technical dossiers and service histories.
Ideal candidate should possess;
Education: Bachelor’s Degree in Automation, Mechanical Engineering, Electrical Engineering, or a data-driven technical discipline from a reputable university.
Experience: Minimum of 5 years of engineering experience in the wind sector, with at least 2-3 years in an operational supervisory or technical specialist role (e.g., Wind Turbine Specialist, Performance Analyst, O&M Lead) directly on-site.
Language: Professional working proficiency in English, both verbal and written, to analyze complex technical manuals, interface with international specialists, and report to management.
Preferred Industry Background: Solid background working inside major Wind Turbine OEMs, highly preferred with Goldwind, or Vestas/Envision, or working as a specialized technical asset performance engineer for Renewable Energy Developers/IPPs.
Required Technical Skills and Certifications
- Core Technical Expertise: Exceptional understanding of Wind Turbine technology, specifically Goldwind 4S/4.5MW platform, turbine aerodynamics, mechanical components, and pitch/yaw control systems.
- Advanced Systems: Full mastery of SCADA systems, CMS (Condition Monitoring Systems), and CMMS data structures to execute advanced performance tracking and fault customization.
- Certifications: Valid Global Wind Organisation (GWO) certifications (BST/BTT), Electrical Safety Certificate, and Site Manager Certificate (Chứng chỉ Chỉ huy trưởng) as an advantage.
