Senior Accountant

Due to business expansion, we are actively seeking Senior Accountant for the Finance Department to be based in Philippines. This role reports to the Finance Director, PH.
Role & Responsibilities
The Senior Accountant is expected to independently manage accounting functions, ensure the accuracy and timeliness of financial reporting, maintain compliance with applicable accounting standards and tax regulations, and provide financial insights that support management decision-making. The role is also expected to drive process improvements, strengthen internal controls, and mentor junior accounting staff.
Accounting and Business Central
- In charge of Month-End Activities and generation of monthly financial statement and schedules for all PH entities
- Ensure recording and updated schedules of accruals, depreciation, amortization, prepayments, etc.
- Prepare Monthly Bank Reconciliation Report
- On Boarding of Purchase Order and Purchase Invoice in Business Central
- PPE On Boarding in Business Central
- Incorporate VAT reports in Business Central
- Incorporate Withholding taxes report in Business Central
- In-charge and liaise with the registration of computerized accounting system (CAS) with BIR
- Liaise with external auditors during financial statement audit
- Perform other accounting and finance functions as assigned.
Treasury: Accounts Payable and Payments
- Weekly Cash Balance Report
- In charge of Accounts Payable and Payment Processing
- Vendor On-Boarding in Business Central
- Preparation of Bank Forms and Secure Approval from authorized signatories
- Support in Opening and Closing Bank Accounts
- Compiling Vendor Invoices and Supporting Documents (Contracts, Agreement, Invoices and Approvals, etc.)
- Generation of Tax Certificate (BIR Form 2307) for all payments with Withholding Tax
Compliance Reporting
- Department of Energy
- Quarterly Investment Report
- Quarterly ER1-94
- Quarterly Government Share
Board of Investment
- Annual Universal S1
- Annual Tax Incentive Report
- Annual AFS and ITR
Securities and Exchange Commission
- Preparation of General Form for Financial Statement
- Ensure Submission of Annual AFS and ITR
Ideal candidate should possess;
Education:
- Bachelor’s Degree in Accountancy
- Certified Public Accountant (CPA) is preferred
Experience:
- Minimum of 5 years work of progressive accounting experience
- Prior experience in renewable energy industry
- Experience in financial reporting, audit coordination, and month-end closing
- Experience using ERP system is an advantage
